There are many jobs for volunteers during and prior to our dress boutiques. We regret that, for confidentiality reasons, The Glass Slipper Project can't allow girls under the age of 18 to volunteer on "shopping days". We can DEFINITELY use your help during set up and breakdown, though, so feel free to sign up for these important activities.

This year's boutiques are scheduled for:

Farren Elementary School

Setup Dates:
Saturday March 15, 2008
Saturday March 29, 2008

Boutique Dates:
Saturday, April 12, 2008
Saturday, April 26, 2008
Saturday, May 3, 2008

On the day of the boutique, volunteers can help with any of the following:

  • Personal shopping (helping girls find and coordinate their outfit)
  • Sign-in and Sign-out tables
  • Jewelry, Accessory & Shoe sections
  • Makeup section (also helping with consultations) Walk-arounds
  • Help sort and display new donations
  • Assist with minor dress alterations
There are three shifts:
  • The full day shift is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (lunch provided)
  • The morning shift is 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • The afternoon shift is noon to 4 p.m.
